will blog later, guys. adios.
yes yes... i know... a LOT of pple has been bugging me abt my blog. hehe. i'm so sorry guys...
a quick update for my friends... yes... i'm still alive and kicking... not to worry. hehe. started working already. quite lucky to get this job because usually they need pple with experience. so now i'm doing auditing at shangri la hotel. anyone wants a trip ard sentosa? hehe.... almost everything is free for me over at sentosa so yup... it's great. if you are wondering if auditing is difficult or not well let me tell you... it is most definitely tedious. you have to go thru from A to Z. and you need to be organizeeeeeeeed. hahahahahaha. so not me right? ahahaha. but oh well it's enjoyable. the fun part is during break time, all of us will go and have a walk by the beach. hehe. and the pay is not too bad.... the pple there are quite nice. haven had the opportunity to really have a decent conversation with them yet but i think most definitely i would be given the chance to do so in the future... *grin* btw... i think mr cheng will be shocked to know that i got such a job.
abt my studies... well of course i want to continue but the fee is a little bit high for me. so i am going to follow my plan which is to save up first den continue studying. hopefully with god's will my plan will work out smoothly. *pray hard*
manage to see wyd's new haircut and specs... pretty!! did anyone of you came across seventeen magazine? sofia.. or should i say... sophia was featured. i have to admit that the makeover was alright but what was the beyonce thing all abt, man???? heh. manage to meet apple, michelle and diva at starbucks last week. it was terribly fun... we laughed like mad... and as usual, bitch ard. haiya but grp not complete without our one and only Mr fan- leng and ain. where are you guys, man?????? sigh. it's be a tiring week,man... didnt have the time to sit down and blog anymore. bummer. well, as many of you guys out there should already know( if you havent den HELLO!!! where have you beeeeeeeen?), results will be out on the first of march! damn. of all the days. on the same day, fort minor and mike shinoda will be having a concert. damn. imagine if you dont do really well for your exams, how the hell are you going to enjoy the concert?!?!?! sucker.
hmmm.... apparently someone took my previous blog address. i didnt even know until recently. haha. so for those extra kaypoh schoolmates of mine who got nothing else better to do but to read other pple's blogs will be reading things that is so not related to me. hahah. oh well. i alwaes believe that if i know that i didnt do anything wrong den there's nothing to fear.
a few days ago, i met wyd and nad. even though it was only for a while cuz wyd got work, it was nice being able to meet my good friends again. now that all of us are working, it's damn hard to meet up. of course la... den again we have some pple who never and dun need to find a job at all cuz parents got too much money. heh. just yesterday, i met fariha (mmmmmoooooooooooooooo) on the train while i was on my way home from work. we chatted all the way from erm.. orchard? to khatib, where she alighted. pity her fren who was all alone.
hmmm.... who else did i meet ah...? lemme think....
apple. but not recently ah. like last week or so. cuz we work ard the same area so once in a while, get to have lunch together.
oooh!~
you know shan wee is so blardy tall. gosh. i saw him the other time at my work place. okay la, he is cute. duh, right. but den again, he reminds me of my primary sch good friend, lorenzo. hmmm.. wonder where he go.... i remember he alwaes like to show his "vampire" teeth. haha! farnie guy la... he also likes to chew his pen den one day when we were in primary 3, he bite the ink den his lips had blue ink all over!!! wuahahaha! all i know is that he went to riverside secondary sch and now in sp but even though he stay at my area (i think), i never did meet him. too bad.
going to visit the gym soon.
want to rent the emily rose vcd or better still, dvd.
going to make potato salad or brownies.
got interview on tues.
buy some new clothes for myself.
talk abt the latest scandal on my next post.
erm...
okay i cant think anymore. i want to sleep. it's late. need to wake up early. hopefully get breakfast at mac or something! hmmm.. yummy!
i guess every blogger experience the same thing at least once and that is, this one person (or maybe more) will leave a comment on the tagboard or wherever saying some ridiculous stuff. the thing that i dont understand is why do they(the one who leave the comments) need to waste their time doing that? rather than wasting your time typing your thoughts on other pple's blog, maybe, just maybe, you can make your own blog and trash out everything that you wan. come on, it's easy to set up your own blog. just register yourself under blogspot(or whatever site you wan), make a few choices den *poof* your blog appears in front of you. as easy as 1,2,3!~
another thing is that, i am kinda amaze for the fact that all of them have the time to read other pple's blogs! so free arh?
unlike the other bloggers, i rather not argue with such people. for me, i think i'm just wasting my time with people i dunno. so since i have the luxury of deleting pple's tag, i just take advantage of it! :)
a piece of advise to pple who leave worthless comments: the next time you dun like reading someone's blog, click out of the blog, click to another blog or simply type another blog add. i dun think you need me to teach you that, do you?
that was the first burger that i had trouble eating. just look at the amount of onions they used, man! yes yes, onions are good in many ways; enhance the taste of your food, get rid of ghosts and all. but seriously, khai and i were separating the beef from the onions ( i normally dun do such things cuz i think that it's bad to waste food and also, hello! waste time!!!) and to be frank, there wasnt much of beef left. 3/4 of the beef was filled with onions. the moment i placed the burger near to my mouth to grab a bite, i can smell the onions. honestly, i think no ghost in the right mind will ever come near to anyone who just had that burger. No offences but they( the ghosts)'ll prolly faint ( if that's possible) while trying to scare the humans. sigh. it was the worse burger- eating experience i ever had.
to make it worse, there was this old man who was sitting 2 tables away from us and while we were eating, he started scratching him ehm (groin)! eeeeewwwww! and NO, it wasnt the kind just-scratch-from-outside-his- pants. its the pull-his-pants-and-stick-his-hands-into-his-pants-and-god-knows-if-it's-into-his-underwear-as- well kinda thing. i didnt see it because i was happily eating fries and talking to khai but unfortunately, khai saw it and he lose his appetite. so i changed sit and sat infront of him, instead. but that's not the worse of it all. apparently, according to khai, this old man started from a scratch to a pleasing himself, if you know what i mean. so he had that look and stared at this one girl who was outside mac. eeeeewwww! (bring in a bucket! no! 100 buckets!! we need to puke!!!)
i finally had the guts to watch the "pontk: harum sundal malam 2" and "the maid". ya ya. i know, i'm so slow, lagging, blah bla bla.. seriously, i'm a scary cat. mainly because of the first hand encounters that i had before and all. it came to a point whereby i dare not watch any ghost shows AT ALL! heh. but now i think i've lighten up. yeah. i was very impressed by singapore's movie. the story the maid has a very nice twist at the end. yup. good job!
i dunno if i should be mad or cant be bothered. okay here's the story:
i like to borrow vcds la. sometimes i watch it at home with my family or just watch it at kai's house with his family. so i signed up to this vcd shop nearby. after a few days, i realised that my ex- schoolmate is working at that place. so i avoided that place la. duh. unfortunately, she must have came upon to my registration list and took my contact number. okay, to this point i am still fine la. even though it is prolly illegal to do that, for the fact that she is my ex- school mate, i close one eye. but she took another step and passed my number to another friend of hers. what the hell, right?
i'm so freaking pissed at her. really. oi! if you happened to read this entry, dun bother apologizing, okay! it's over and done. saying sorry wouldnt do any good.
yes. i am mad over the matter.
i mean seriously ah. imagine if all the businesses that handle with customers' detail do the same thing. privacy will be extinct, man! just like the dodos. argh. online no privacy. shopping also no privacy. what the hell!
haha. okay. it's been quite sometime since i sit down and blog. damn i miss those time when i can happily spend the whole day without any worries on the computer playing all the games available. currently i'm juggling two jobs at one time. yup. looking for a third if god allows. heh. so that explains my disappearance.
well, it's hard work juggling 2 jobs. some of you might be thinking that i am crazy. well, if you know me well enough you should know that i can be the laziest person on earth yet the most hardworking peson if i want to. let me repeat myself, IF I WANT TO. heh. yes, it is tiring. running from one place to another, making sure that both the jobs dun clash, coming to the correct workplace at the right time, etc. it's tiring but it's worth it. no no... i'm not talking about $$*ke-cing*. that is not the main reason. the main thing is that i want the experience. yea... i'm glutton for experiences. heh. oh well, there's nothing wrong with that.
a lot of things had been happening these past few days. it will be a torture for me to list each and everything that had happened so please... spare me. :)
by the way, i have lots of blisters on my feet due to useless painful shoes that i have stupidly bought. okay, maybe it is not the shoes' fault. i'm the one who has big feet. yes i do. i'm sure my close friends are aware of that. heh. okay, just for you guys out there who thinks that size 8 is big, well it's not. mine's 10 or bigger. yes, you read that right. size 10 or BIGGER. size 10 is just nice if i am buying those slip-ons shoes. but if i am looking for those fully-covered shoes... well i need to get 11 or 12. this is ladies sizing ah. not guys. for guys' shoes i am wearing size 8. i didnt realise this until recently when i decided to be a girly girl and wear ladies shoes. just went into charles and keith and looked at size 38 (i thought that that's my right size) but it couldnt fit properly. so i tried bigger till i couldnt find one. so i asked the salesgirl what is the biggest size that they carry. size 40. damn. i cant fit my feet in it. mom should have not hesitated in binding my feet when i was a child.
so the choices that i have right now are:
1) get custom made shoes. $$*ke- cing*$$
2) bind it. there's always hope until you stop believing in it. like what adidas says, impossible is nothing
3) buy shoes from aldo, nine west, etc. those with big sizes. $$*ke-cing*$$
4) go overseas and get my shoes but first i have to get my passpport.
5) cut my toes den i can never wear slippers or sandals anymore. this is too radical.
6) continue buying guys' shoes. den my feet will continue expanding.
oh well. :I
customers. they can be such a pain. i really hate reading articles about how lousy salespeople are in singapore because the customers themselves can be a real pain themselves. i believe that it takes two hands to clap. if they salespple are nice, dun just brush them off like it would kill you to smile at them. it would be better if you could actually ask them "how are you?" but i'm not forcing you to say that. all i can say is that just a smile can make someone's day. and to ask them how they are doing will make them feel better especially if they had been having a bad day. pple normally say that they prefer to serve foreign especially caucasians customers. maybe it's not because they can get them to buy more things but maybe, just maybe these pple are better and friendlier to the salespple so it makes the salespple feel more comfortable. i know that it works for me. although i may have a hard time understanding what they are trying to say due to the accent, i feel happy serving them because firstly, they acknowledge you. some acknowledge you first before you even had the chance to do so. secondly, they will ask how you are doing. thirdly, they will politely ask you about the products that they are interested in and LISTEN to whatever the salesperson have to say. lastly, they will look you in the eye and sincerely say thank you for your help. sigh.
den again i am not saying that the locals and all are not doing all this. but the majority that i had came upon with were shy and timid that they indirectly offend the sales pple but brushing them away. there are some who wouldnt be bothered to talk to you at all. just look right thru you. seriously. sigh. just today i had one customer who was browsing so i greeted him and explain about the history of the shop and all. he barely listen. den when he was about to leave, i was supposed to give him a broshure so i did and you know what he said to me? oh neymind arh. sniggered and looked at the paper like it's a piece of shit that i am passing to him. i dunno if i should pity him for being egoistic or dumb or lazy or (well the list just go on)...
no no i am not trying to bitch about the customers here but merely placing an example. there are some customers who are so nice that i can never forget how humble and friendly they are. one of them is this (i think) indo guy. i greeted him and introduced to him the products. he was so nice as to listen and you know what was the best and heart- lifting moment? when he was about to leave, he looked at me, bowed slightly, smiled and gave the most sincere thank you i have ever heard. wow. that totally made my day. believe me.
i think that it would take it yrs for the culture of the locals to change. i got to admit that when i was younger, dont like sales asistances to follow me around but now i really dont care. i will in fact turn and say thank them, SINCERELY. i will do that. it will be hard to change but i think it's worth it. it's all about paying it forward.
so you guys who have been reading this entry. think about it and think of all the times when you had mistreated the salespple. and change.
remember.... what goes ard, comes ard.

i think that it would take it yrs for the culture of the locals to change. i got to admit that when i was younger, dont like sales asistances to follow me around but now i really dont care. i will in fact turn and say thank them, SINCERELY. i will do that. it will be hard to change but i think it's worth it. it's all about paying it forward.
so you guys who have been reading this entry. think about it and think of all the times when you had mistreated the salespple. and change.
remember.... what goes ard, comes ard.
